Fairs at MC campus

Last weekend, the Mission Heights campus activities were filled with a variety of fairs. Here’s a nugget ofeach fair that took place:

MARKET FAIR On March 19, 2009, the Open Market Fair opened its (invisible) doors to the public at 3 pm. Located in the parking lot in front of Ruth Hall, students and staff alike were seen selling a variety of things; clothes, food, second-hand books and even plants. The public was delighted when the popular Muslim restaurant people from Muak Lek came and sold roti banana (unleavened flatbread). The rain, unfortunately, came hard during the evening, so several stalls later took refuge inside the nearby hall. However, this did not stop the fair from operating.

The fair was organized by the Faculty of Business Administration. “Organizing this event allows Business students to practice what they learn in the class,” says Acharn Wanlee Putsom, one of the class organizers.
